Update March 12th. The Yolo County elections offfice published an update on March 12. Measure G is still short of passing. It went from 65% yes to 65.7%. And in the Yolo County 4th Supervisorial District, Jim Provenza is now at 49.30%, a slight decrease. Many more votes remain to be counted.
As of election night (March 3), Measure Q, a City of Davis sales tax renewal, based easily. Measure G is a bit short of passing. It has 65% yes and needs 66.66% to pass. In the Yolo County 4th Supervisorial District, Jim Provenza received 49.49% and Linda Deos received 36.72% of the vote. Provenza needs 50% + 1 vote in order to win outright, otherwise there will be a runoff with Ms. Deos in November. As of March 11, many vote-by-mail, provisional and conditional ballots remain to be counted so Measure G and the 4th Supervisorial District results may change.
