Newsicon1 Mary Jo Bryan to run for City Council

Mary Jo Bryan, a long-time Davis resident, announced her bid for a seat on the Davis City Council on December 10, 2017.  Bryan has been civically active over the years in Davis.  She has served as President of the League of Women Voters, as well as volunteering with organizations like AYSO and school PTAs.  She also ran for County Supervisor 20 years ago.  Lately she has focussed her civic activities advocating for senior housing.  

The election for Davis City Council will be held in June 2018. Two seats will be contested, those of Rochelle Swanson and Robb Davis.  It is expected that there will be 8+ candidates running for the 2 contested seats.
